What are the best intermediate streetbikes out there?ms stress

I prefer the 1981 Yamaha XS-650SH. Yamaha made the XS-650 series from 1970 - thru - 1984. They are very rugged and proven motorcycles. You can't get parts thru a dealer, but who cares, you can get new parts online, and cheaper than dealers charge. You can also get excellent used parts online, too. New parts are currently being made for the motorcycle. You can check it out for yourself at the WWW.xs650.com website. Their are over a dozen websites for the Yamaha XS-650 owners to get parts, and talk shop, and ask questions, and even get answers to maintenance questions. They get 58 MPG, claimed EPA rating.

I own one, and will never part with mine.

With a maintenance manual you can do your own tuneups, and maintenance. No need to shell out money to have some shop do it. Just look for a good one, their are plenty out there.

They are not hard to work on either!!! You will be surprised!!!

go get ducati 996 ,fast , great handling affordable
Personally, I was just looking at a 2006 Ducati Superbike 999R Xerox edition, whose price was around $32,000. Ducati bikes are the most impressive I'd say. Perphaps you'd like to check their website.
I would suggest any Honda Shadow. They are stylish and have great power; but, most of all, they are very dependable.
It depends on what kind of riding you like to do. Do you like cruising or agressive riding? In my opinion Haley is the only way to go. They offer cruisers and sport bikes.
