You sure it is 12 letters ending with an "m"? (or 11th letter "m")

EDIT: I have just found a different spelling of this which is 12 letters long (but still without an "m" on the end).

I'm not finding anything that fits these blanks the way you describe. Are you sure the U, E, O, and M are correct? And any chance this would be the English name of one of his operas?
