Put the key words of what you are looking for in an internet search engine. I just used Yahoo.com and came up with quite a few possibilities. Here are at least 4 search engines you can use:

Yahoo.com

Google.com

Ask.com

Dogpile.com

Another good resource for research is your school/college/university Library and/or public library. Librarians are there to help you find the resource material you need to do your research.

I need your opinion. MOS question?

I have narrowed it down to 7 MOS possibilities. I have based these MOS's on my education, ASVAB and my prior experience. Also with the jobs that offer the student loan repayment program. The MOS's are 31s/25p (Microwave sys. Maint), 31r/25q (multichannel sys. oper), 25s (satelite comm maint), 33w (military intel sys maint), 94d (air traffic control equip repairer), 94L(avionics comm repairer) and 94m (radar repairer). The description of each seems as if I wouldnt mind doing them for the time in length that I am enlisting. my recruiter says that I will be able to qualify for either of them. My question is can anyone please tell me what the jobs are like and what kind of job I can get in the civilian world with knowledge experience and the education that the Army will give me? I have a wife and kids and Im just wondering which job I will benifit the most from. which one of the positions has a higher rate of employment in the civilian world. any thoughts or suggestions would help. anythin

OK, I'll admit I don't know about the particular jobs you mentioned but here are a few points to consider:

1) No matter how technical your job is you can still be assigned to a fighting unit (i.e. field artillery).

2) Most technical jobs in the military are so specific they have no civilian equivalent.

3) If you're enlisted you'll be working for people dumber than dirt.

4) The military prizes muscle - not intelligence.

ENJOY!

I would think that 94d and 94L Would be your best bets. They are always hiring for jobs like that in the civilian world. And you will most likely get paid more once you are out as well.

Good Luck My best friend is a recruiter be careful they are tricky!

Thank you for serving our Country

God bless stay safe!
94M all the way!! i am finishing my first (and only!) enlistment as a 94M and I am already hired when I ETS (1 APR 07) and I will be starting out making $92,000 a year with a $50,000 cash signing bonus (I only have to work with the company for 2 yrs). Don't believe any of the other hoopla you hear about a better MOS because this is it!
Well Bobby D has no clue... so lets see whats next.

33W is a great choice... Intel sys maintenance... it deals with computers.... now add to it what is called a U2 identifier and you can work on unmanned aerial vehicles.... Shadow, Predators, etc.... which both the military and Homeland Security have a big need for.

And yes... post military.... Homeland Security pays very good.

31s/25p, 31r/25q, 25s, 33w, 94d, 94L, 94m. MOS question?

my name is army SGT Wagner from 4-319 airborne i am a retention nco for my unit. we are infantry but you can look at this website called cool mos just type "cool mos and the number of your mos and you will be able to see all of the civilian equivilents of the mos i hope this helps. if you need anything else you can e-mail me

31s/25p, 31r/25q, 25s, 33w, 94d, 94L, 94m. MOS question?theater seating opera theaterI'M a 94D its a good MOS lots of new equipment coming out. You can be a contractor and work for general dynamics and other companys once you are out of the service. Report It

My opinion would be 25's, communications. I was in the Marine Corps and I tell ya what everyone wanted to be our friends when it came to deployment, due to the fact you have the "in" on the communication systems and best ways to contact home!!!
First, Rule out 25P, 25Q and 94M You will hate the jobs, the units and you will be grossly under worked and in time, under trained.

33W is a decent MOS, but still a little under worked.

94D is a good MOS. If you want to talk to someone about it I can put you in touch with the Master Sergeant that Develops the training for the MOS.

94L is a good MOS and they stay busy, however, it will be merging with the 94E soon and then you can end up in an avionics shop, COMSEC vault, or Support unit. The support unit will be the hardest to cope with as you have to make mission and satisfy the needs of the Battalion.

25S will keep you on your toes. if you stay vigilant in your duty, you will never be bored.

Good luck.

For the Conspiracy Theorists? What were YOU thinking? (Part 2)?

In the spirit of honestly trying to understand. Some of the points I have seen are:

1-Why questions WTC 7 when numerous Non-Partisan experts were involved. If you watch the video of the towers falling, there is no way 7 did not receive a substantial hit, the video of the building shows several floors cratered. How is it this can be wrong?

2 - If a plane did not hit the Pentagon, why are there so many witnesses that saw the plane hit? Why was there airplane debris at the site? What happened to this flight?

3 - The plastic boxcutter theory - I know I would fear my life if someone put said plastic-encased METAL boxcutter to my throat. Wouldn't you?

4 - World's greatest kept secret - How is it that a conspiracy with involvement in the hundreds, maybe even thousands, has been supressed this long?

5 - Operation Northwoods - This operation was declassified. Why would they declassify this information if they were planning an attack similar? Oper. Northwoods called for NO DEATHS!

For the Conspiracy Theorists? What were YOU thinking? (Part 2)?oper

Don't you love how they all come out of hiding when you ask a question about 9/11. I mean, how dare you question them? LOL.

I wonder how long it will take for them to have this question deleted.

For the Conspiracy Theorists? What were YOU thinking? (Part 2)?hollywood theater opera theater

Firstly, I would like to say that I am NOT a conspiracy theorist. I am just a person who has investigated some of the sites and claims...and have found some inconsistencies. I am not jumping to the conclusion that the American government was responsible...that is where I think the theorists lose ground. They should stick to architectural proof, and leave out the blame game.

The most compelling discussions I have found/seen involve the clearly visible proof of explosives taking out the towers. The fact that it fell the way it did in its own footprint is proof of a controlled demolition. But my explanation for this (personal belief) is that a building that size with previous attacks would have had explosives installed in the building sometime after the first attack. For safety reasons. If the towers had not fallen in their footprints, they would have taken out so many other structures and lives. This way, should something horrible happen, the demolition could be controlled. But could this be made common knowledge? Absolutely not. Who would want to work in a building wired with explosives? And how could the administration explain that decision to the public? They couldn't.

As for the plane hitting the pentagon....the debris found was not consistent with the size of jet reported hitting the building. And why have we not seen any footage of the hit, when there were 8 cameras trained on the outside of the building? It wasn't to protect the public from the ugliness of the sight, as we were subjected to an enormous amount of visual ugliness already that day.

I do believe that terrorists planned and carried out the attacks. But the foreknowledge of the attacks is under question for me, and how it was handled by the government is also under question.
I'd answer your ? with mine. How could 4 commercial aircraft, full of passengers all leave their flight plans circle about and crash into or aim at heavily populated civilian targets with no response from the US military? Wasn't it 20 min. between the the first tower being struck and the second? I believe the protocol in that situation would call for the military to shoot down a plane to prevent a second, third, and fourth incident.
MR. White....what part of DOCTORED EDITED VIDEO can you not seem to understand...or is your head burried in Rosie's bum...

Oh I am sorry I know you refuse to let FACTS get in the way of your Ignorant spew.....
I don't buy the idiotic conspiracy theories either. I just answered a similar question. I'll paste my comment regarding Building 7:

I knew WTC 7 was going to fall before it did. Does that make me part of the "conspiracy?" It was reported on the news (Ashleigh Banfield - NBC or MSNBC) that they were pulling firemen, etc. from the building because it was unstable and expected to fall. (Remember, two buildings had just fallen, hours before.) And it fell as expected. Concussion, debris, fire, etc. can do that to a building. Duh.

I'm sure that in the crush of events and reports, someone on the BBC, 3,000 miles away, could easily have garbled "will collapse" into "has collapsed" without any malevolent action being responsible.

Remember the trapped miners? There was a report 12 were alive, and an hour later it was discovered to be a tragic mistake in reporting - 12 had died. Do the conspiracy theorists think the miners were found alive, then murdered? The same "logic" would apply.

PS These "conspiracy" people are not to be understood, merely pitied as the LOSERS they are.
good little sheep. atta boy. your just what they want.
Just for clarification, firefighters do not refer to "pull it" to evacuate a building, NFPA standard protocall is 3 horn blasts from air horns or fire apparatus, WTC 7 fell all at once, all four corners at the same time, there was damage from the other building collapse, but this would not constitute a full blown collapse, more like a lean to collapse if anything, whole buildings do not collapse on to their own foot print from one sided building damage.(impossible) As for the pentagon, 2 fire apparatus were just minutes away at an earlier mva and responded to the pentagon, the first pictures of the incident show 2 trucks on scene, with no debris on the lawn, they actually knocked the fire down. Ever see a plane crash? not just wreckage but fingers, toes, arms, legs, and various other burned body parts, seats, luggage, see any of this at the pentagon?. just my .02 cents.
Right Feathers (not)... So the military knows which planes are going to shoot down? And what do they do use lasers that disintegrate the planes so they don't fall down on the people below. If the military would have shot down a plane over Manhattan the wreckage would fall and kill thousands. Say they were to shoot down the wrong plane, more grief.
Sounds like you've learned how to ask questions, too bad you don't question the govt the same way.

1. WTC 7 collapsed evenly as if well planned out explosions went off, not random debris so as to make it tumble.

2. If so many people "saw" a plane why did it disappear and why isn't it on the released video. Alot of people saw the statue of liberty disappear back in the 80's too.

3. How many of the hundreds on board a plane can you take out with a box cutter? You might slit one or two necks but not even sheep are that dumb.

4. Military objectives and classified evidence can be kept secret for as long as those in power want to keep them that way. Everybody has something to lose.

5. Why did PNAC publish the "pearl harbor event" statement? I dont know but it sure looks like they got what they wanted.

"Answers that don't answer, explanations that don't explain, conclusions that don't conclude." May I add some more? If the intention was to start a war, why blow up the Pentagon? I would assume one would need the Pentagon if one were intending to go to war.

Don't' you think just One WTC tower would have been enough?

What about the plane that crashed in Pennsylvania?

.
You didn't address the fact that the BBC reported WTC 7 down before it fell.

Make sure the teacher can read, write and pose grammar before you take her/him on. I blame poor standards of English being taught in primary schools and not the kids themselves who purport to have "dyslexia" and other "learning difficulties". Have a look at the poor standards on this site in whichever section you like for examples. I didn't have the benefit of a university education, only a good grounding from teachers I respected and who made me sit up and pay attention in class.

Your system comes with a 802.11 a/b/g adapter which is a wireless network card. You are all set if you wish to connect wirelessly. However, I do not see a standard (wired) Ethernet adapter listed. This is unusual because most systems today do come with a wired nic built in. It may be an oversight in the features list.

In any event, If you wish to connect via a wired connection and your system doesn't come "out of the box" with one installed you can always add one later via a USB nerwork card or a PCMCIA network card. They cost between $30 - $50.

Good luck,

If you mean wireless adapter -no - you have and on board bluetooth.

Nice system - if getting Vista - another gig of RAM is needed.
when you say "notebook adapter" do you mean the ac adapter? if so, you will need that to power on and charge your computer. if you are talking about a network adapter, such as ethernet port. a computer like that should already have either or both ethernet and modem.
