Question about Jail?

KNOWINGLY OPER VEH W/ DL SUSP what happens after being charged with this?? what happens to your license then?

And what if your phone (phone company) can't take calls from inmates, what phone services does?

What can you do about it? I already have long distance though.

I don't know the answer to your first question.

For your second question: Check with your phone company to make sure you don't have a Security Screen Block on your phone. This Security Block is to put an end to telemarketers. If you have this on your phone it will also block the calls from inmates because your call starts with an automated operator asking you to press a certain number on your phone to accept the call. There for, the Security Block does not let the call come through. So, if you have this block on your phone, have it removed. Then, your calls from inmates will come through, unless you block the call yourself. Unfortunately the telemarketers will be able to come through as well.

Every state has its own laws. Depending on a previous record, and how you deal with a prosecutor will determine the outcome/punishment. Also it could depend on why you were driving.
thats super vague. Every individual state has its own set of laws, and even then each county has their own scale that they decide on, and then of course it matters what lawyer you have.

Phone companies all take collect calls, but it is up to the home owner if they choose to even get collect calls or not.
In jails the pencil and writing paper mail communication

is more efficient than cellular yak-yak. I suggest you use more

cursive or block-printing than text transmissions. Think about

what needs to be said rather than allowing a gift for gab to

get your mouth further afield faster than hand-eye coordination.
Up to 18 months in jail depending if you have a prior record. License will be suspending for up to 2 years. I don't know about long distance services.
They were arrested for operating a vehicle with a suspended license. Their license is already suspended, so don't expect to be getting it back anytime soon. If your phone can't accept collect calls from inmates then contact your phone company. I've never heard of a phone company that would block calls from being recieved from a jail unless it's a block that you requested.
where i am from the driving after suspension will cost you about $182,

the inmate calls...most inmates call with phone cards. it should not have anything to do with your phone service.
About the phone calls.....when they call there should be a number that they leave to call and so that you are able to accept the calls. You will probably have to have a deposit in order to activate the service.
