IF the curb is not red (or any color) can you still not park in front of a fire hydrant?

I was like 2 feet from it with 35 oper feet (drive way) in front of me so there was enough access for any firefighters to access it in case of emergencies...

As far as my state, you can't park in front of any fire hydrant whether it is marked or not. They don't have to have red paint. That is usually for fire lanes in commercial areas.

No you can not park in front of a fire hydrant b/c there's fire trucks that need to use it for when there is a fire at someone's house.
It is not legal to park in front of a fire hydrant...
The law is that you can not park within 3 feet in either directon of a fire hydrant. It doesn't matter how it can be accessed, it must remain clear for a total of at least 6 feet. So you are paying for the ticket.

sorry.
No, you can't park in front of it. Why didn't you just park in the driveway? If there was an emergency your car could have been smushed or the firefighters could have to waste time getting you to move your car before they can save anyone. There's a lot of stupid rules in the world, but this is not one of them.
It doesn't matter what color the curb is. Parking in front of a fire hydrant is illegal. Two feet from it isn't far enough.
I like to use a simple rule of thumb for this type of question. If your house were burning down with your family inside, would you like me to take the few extra minutes to work a supply hose around your vehicle? Even if your law says you can park there, I would always give this consideration.
No, you can't park within 3 feet of a hydrant. Vehicles in front of the hydrants make it very difficult to hook up to one. Look at the attachment points on the hydrant, the one in front is bigger right?. That's the one they need to access to supply an engine for a big fire. If your car is in the way, then it get's damaged, or they have to go further for water. Once they do hook into the hydrant, and you are parked there, the car can't go anywhere if it means going over a hose. That is, if they don't lay it right over your car. I guarantee you that there will be a ticket issued, and your car will get towed if they need the hydrant. The engine can always hook a winch cable up to your car and drag it out of the way.
Well I know in my State you aren't allowed to park in front of a Fire Hydrant, and they don't paint the curb in front of them. That is proably the same in all states. As to that driveway, unless you were in it that really makes no difference to me. Do you think the firetruck is going to pull in it? They are supposed to have the road. If you were in the driveway I'm not sure what they do, but sounds like you should be further in your driveway in that case.
