Help with the SIMS2 Nightlife PC? Help with starting it up?

Ok, I installed this expansion pack and it wont let me play it, the installation was fine and everything. but when i try to oper and play it i keep gettting a message like this:

Right click on My Computer and select Properties.

Click the Hardware Tab and Select Device Manager.

Find Display Adapters and click on the plus sign to expand it.

In there you'll find the type of video card you have.

Write this down.

Go to the official Sims 2 site and see if you can find your card on the list that works with the game. If it's not there you need a new graphics card to play the game.

If it is there you need to update your drivers.

umm first of if yu didnt try uninstalling it then i suggest yu do second yu should always check for updates to yur drivers and are yu sure yu have directx 9.0?if yu dont heres a link if this doesnt work for you then i suggest yu buying another gexpansion pack and installing it so yu can play with that one if yu want to get games without having to buy m e-mail me at sergioespaillat@hotmail.com also yu can try to just run the disc from another application starter (insert the game or disc 1 then when auto play pops out choose view folder then just look for a launcher or an application) did yu get this?if not pz answer me back i wanna help yu out with this issue
